If you saw the Oprah Show syndicated May 9th you would have heard Tina Turner reveal that Cher inspired her to leave her abusive husband Ike. According to Tina, this inspiration derived from Cher's appearing to be very happy as a single woman.This is what Tina Turner said:
"I just remember she was so free. I admired her freedom."In 1976, Tina left Ike. This was just one year after Cher's marriage to Sonny Bono ended. Cher and Tina have been good friends for over 30 years.
