Shania and Mutt's 14-year-old marriage is over. It has been reported that they are separated and on the way to the divorce court any day now. But we did not know the cause of the break up. Well... now we do.
According to several sources the marital split was caused by Mutt's relationship with Marie Ann Thiebaud, the longtime secretary and manager of the couple's chateau in Switzerland.
Robert "Mutt" Lange said the split was "an unfortunate thing." And, according to People magazine, Mutt added, "It's literally just a growing apart, that's all."
Twain, 42, and Lange, 59, were married in 1993 and have a 6-year-old son. The gossip is that the couple does not venture out much and the hubby is quite reclusive. He is a songwriter and producer who prefers to stay secluded in the couple's homes in Switzerland and New Zealand while Twain is on the road. Are you thinking what we are thinking?
