Ashlee Simpson, 23, and Pete Wentz, 28, were married Saturday night, May 17, 2008. It was an intimate ceremony which included around 150 guests. It has been reported that Ashlee wore an ivory laced gown by Monique Lhuillier with a diamond necklace and earrings by Neil Lane.The location for the wedding was in Los Angeles at the home of Ashlee Simpson's parents. Joe Simpson, Ashley's father, officiated at this non-denominational ceremony. Jessica Simpson, the bride's sister, served as Maid of Honor, and the groom's dog, Hemingway, served as the ring bearer. Some of the guests in attendance were Tony Roma, Nicole Richie, and Joel Madden.
The theme of the couple's reception was "Alice in Wonderland." Champaagne was served to the guests, followed by a sit-down dinner.
Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have been a couple since November 2006. Simpson is pregnant with their first child. Pete Wentz is the bassist for the band "Fall Out Boy." Ashlee Simpson is a well-known pop singer.
