George Carlin Dies Of Heart Failure | 7 Words

George Carlin, 71, the legendary comedian, died last night. According to his publicist, Carlin died of heart failure at St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica, California. George Carlin made political commentaries extremely funny. He told the truth and he was funny. George Carlin was a genius and he will be missed. Carlin is perhaps best known for his Seven Words You Can Never Say On TV routine.

Just last week it was announced that the veteran comic would be the 11th person inducted, in November, 2008, into the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts receiving this year’s Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Past winners include Richard Pryor, Whoopi Goldberg, Lily Tomlin, and Steve Martin.

Rest in peace, George Carlin. We will miss you.
