Amy Winehouse Diagnosed With Irregular Heartbeat

Amy Winehouse fainted at her home on Monday. After the 24-year-old was hospitalized it was reported that she has been diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat. Sources say tests were inconclusive but the doctors treating her now believe they know what caused her symptoms.

According to reports, Winehouse’s drug use lead to the irregular heartbeat. This may result in a heart attack.

A doctor tells the Sun:
Crack narrows blood vessels and raises pressure. It is toxic to the heart muscle, causing an irregular beat. A heart attack is one of the most common ways for the drug to kill. But if Amy’s lucky, she’ll feel much better in 48 hours.
