Stemming from the popular MTV show, the daredevil flick toppled expectations by raking in a jaw-dropping take of $50 million on opening weekend.



Meanwhile, Bruce Willis and Helen Mirren's action/comedy caper "Red" wound up placing second with $22.5 million in earnings.

Rounding out the top five were Justin Timberlake's "The Social Network" ($11 million), Diane Lane's "Secretariat" ($9.7 million) and Katherine Heigl's "Life As We Know It" ($9.5 million).
