Baltimore Club Queen K Swift died. She was a Baltimore Club Music Icon and a music innovator. K Swift was affiliated with Radio One/92 Q and Unruly Records.Popular female DJ K Swift was found dead this morning in a swimming pool accident in her hometown of Baltimore, Maryland. One report is that she suffered a fatal head injury at the bottom of her pool.
K Swift was just 27-years-old at the time of her death. She was born as Khia Edgerton in October, 1980. She started DJ’ing at the age of 11, due to the influence of her father and other pioneering DJ’s like Cocoa Channel and Jazzy Joyce.
RIP K-Swift. You were determined to succeed in a man's world and you accomplished just that.
